Field Trip

Here is Joe meeting with students from his district that earned a field trip to Carson City to learn more about the state government. Joe cares deeply about education and wants to make sure the money we spend on education is used appropriately.

Healthcare Panel

As a practicing family physician, Joe cares deeply about issues related to healthcare. In November he participated on a panel for the American Academy of Family Physicians conference in Seattle, WA. Government Class Visit

Every year Dr. Joe is invited to be a guest speaker for several government classes. This year he taught the students the basics of how the state government works (no campaigning of course!). He just loves this opportunity. Here he is having the students negotiate with each other to get a bill passed. He has a lot of experience with getting bills passed- Joe is known for getting legislation through. He just gets things done!
